An automatically operated cleaning system that delivers a number of wash and rinse cycles to the internal surfaces of processing equipment such as, Tanks, Piping, Pasteurisers, Filling machines etc. Typical cleaning cycles in a CIP system for Food and Beverage processes consist of a ‘Water rinse’ phase followed by a ‘Caustic wash’ a ‘Second water rinse’ and then a combination of either Acid or Sterilent phases. ABEL have extensive experience in installing new CIP systems as well as upgrading more manual systems to a greater standard of automation.
